You Have Influences?

Every designer has an aesthetic that draws them into what they do and why they create. I personally have many different influences and thought I would name a few here for you:

This guy is awesome! The way in which he presents his knowledge to others is first what drew me to his work. You can find him all over the design world from Nike to Thrasher. His focus on what works and why it works with bold, clean lines is amazing and why he does what he does. I suggest watching one of his presentations and you'll understand why he is almost ruling the graphic design industry currently.

Brandon Rike has work that you have seen if you have listened to music in the last quarter century. He has been designing shirts and albums for band you have heard of and some you haven't. He is in every genre and style of music and is able to adapt his style to what the end client is looking for. If you have a band and you need a shirt design someone will probably have suggested him at some point. He has online talks and skill classes as well about his work and how he creates.

Ryan has been a close friend of mine for over 10 years now. His work is very clean and has been noticed by artists in the Nashville area as well as nation wide. He has a very simple and clean line aesthetic that is what most designers are looking for but hardly achieve.

Who are your influences? Ask yourself why they are our influences and if you could, please share them :)
